The End of All Things Is Near

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray - 1 Peter 4:7.

Be alert

The days are evil and the end of all things are near. So, let us be alert by redeeming the time and put on the armor of light to cast off the works of darkness. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil - Ephesians 5:16. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light - Romans 13:11,12.

Be of sober mind

Let us be of sober mind as the end of all things are near. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour - 1 Peter 5:8. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith - Romans 12:3.

Pray

As the end of all things are near, let us be effectual in prayer. Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer - Romans 12:12. Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Matthew 26:41.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be alert, sober minded and pray as the end of all things are near. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Tree Planted By The Rivers of Water

He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:3.

Meditating the Word of God

We will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water as we meditate the Word of God. Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:1-3.

Trust & Hope in the Lord

We will be like a tree planted by the water and we will not fear about anything as our trust and hope is in the Lord. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:8.

Bearing fruits

As we meditate God’s Word and trust the Lord, we will be nourished like a tree planted by the waters bearing fruits in its season and whatever we do will prosper. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control - Galatians 5:22. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing - Psalm 92:13, 14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be like a tree planted by the rivers of water by meditating Your Word and having trust in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Valley Shall Be Filled With Water

For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink’ - 2 Kings 3:17.

God told Elisha to make the valley into full of ditches. Suddenly water came and the land was filled with water. Now it happened in the morning, when the grain offering was offered, that suddenly water came by way of Edom, and the land was filled with water - 2 Kings 3:20. God works in ways we cannot see and all things are possible for Him. He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into watersprings - Psalms 107:35.

Nothing is too hard for our Lord. Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? - Jeremiah 32:27. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:19. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools - Psalms 84:6.

God will make the wilderness in our life into pools of water. I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water - Isaiah 41:18. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert - Isaiah 35:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord. We thank You for making the dry areas of our life into springs of water. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
