Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly - Job 8:7.
Joseph
who started life in Egypt as a slave and ended up as leader in the same Egypt. Then
Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him
out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver.
And they took Joseph to Egypt - Genesis 37:28. Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am
Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the
land of Egypt” - Genesis 41:44.
God will lift us up as we humble
ourselves and we will go from strength to strength. Humble yourselves in the
sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up - James 4:10. They go from strength
to strength - Psalm 84:7. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not
on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct
your paths - Proverbs 3:5,6.
God will bless us exceedingly abundantly above
all we ask or imagine in the latter end of our life. Now to Him who is able to
do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall
be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will
give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” - Haggai 2:9. The end of a thing is
better than its beginning - Ecclesiastes 7:8.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We believe
that the latter end of our life would increase abundantly though our beginning
was small. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
