The Lord Blessed The Latter Days of Job More Than His Beginning

The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning - Job 42:12.

Job's Faith

Job accepted the ways of God in his life by faith. Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised - Job 1:21. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?"  In all this, Job did not sin in what he said - Job 2:10. I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You - Job 42:2. I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You - Job 42:5.

Job's Prayer

Job interceded for his friends in the midst of sufferings. And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before - Job 42:10. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you - Matthew 5:44. Pray for one another that you may be healed - James 5:16. God  restored Job’s losses double as he prayed for his friends.

Job's Blessings

The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the beginning. For he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters - Job 42:13. After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died, old and full of days - Job 42:16,17.

Like Job, let us trust God, pray for others and wait patiently for Him to act in our life.  May God bless the latter part of our life more than the beginning. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs - Isaiah 61:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always trust You and pray for others. We thank You for restoring us blessing our latter days more than the beginning. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
