He Was Oppressed And Afflicted

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth - Isaiah 53:7.

Jesus did not open His mouth even when He was oppressed and afflicted. He was scourged and mocked. Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him - John 19:1. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in His right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of Jews!” - Matthew 27:28. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him - Matthew 27:31.

Jesus was stripped and a crown of thorns was planted on his head. The soldiers smote Him on his head with a reed. And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him - Mark 15:16-19.

Jesus was spit and His face was struck by the hands and fists of Roman soldiers, Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him - Mark 14:65. And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, “Do You answer the high priest like that?” - John 18:22. I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting - Isaiah 50:6.

Jesus was disfigured and his form marred beyond human likeness. Just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness - Isaiah 52:14. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death - Psalm 22:14-15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You did not even open Your mouth when You are oppressed and afflicted. Help us to love our enemies. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Great Commission

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature - Mark 16:15.

The great commission of the Lord for us is to go and preach the gospel to every person of the world. As we go and preach let us heal the sick, cast out demons and deliver people as God had given us authority over all the power of enemy. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give - Matthew 10:7-8. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19.

Peter and Paul preached the gospel boldly in the power of the Holy Spirit. Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”- Acts 2:38. When Peter preached, 3000 people were saved and later the number of believers grew to 5000. I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness - the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people - Colossians 1: 25, 26. Let us make use of every opportunity to preach the gospel. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! - 1 Corinthians 9:16.

God had given us the promise of power and presence as we preach the gospel. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1:8. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen - Matthew 28:19,20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us go and preach the gospel to the world with the power and authority You have given us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

God Is Able To Help Us When We Are Being Tempted

Since he himself had gone through temptation and suffering, he is able to help us when we are being tempted - Hebrews 2:18.

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil after He had fasted forty days and forty nights. He was tempted immediately following His baptism and just prior to starting His preaching ministry. He defeated the devil by the Word of God. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God -Ephesians 6:17.

Jesus overcame the lust of the flesh, pride of life and the lust of eyes. Man shall not live by bread alone; but lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord - Deuteronomy 8:3. You shall not tempt the LORD your God - Deuteronomy 6:16. You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve - Deuteronomy 6:16. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you - James 4:7.

God is able to help us when we are tempted as He had gone through temptation and sufferings. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:15,16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to overcome temptations in our life by Your Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

He Who Humbles Himself Will Be Exalted

He who humbles himself will be exalted - Matthew 23:12.

God crowns the humble with victory. He crowns the humble with victory - Psalm 149:4. He gives wisdom to the humble and guides them in what is right. When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom - Proverbs 11:2. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way - Psalm 25:9. He gives grace to the humble and fulfill their desires. God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble - James 4:6. Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble - Psalm 10:17.

God exalted Jesus by giving Him the name above every name as He humbled Himself and came to the world in the appearance of man. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:8-11.

God rewards the people who are humble. The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life - Proverbs 22:4. Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be - Job 8:7. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God to be exalted. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time - 1 Peter 5:6. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be humble like how You are gentle and humble in heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Assurance

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God – 1 John 5:13.

We have the assurance of living hope

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time - 1 Peter 1:3-5.

We have the assurance of eternal life

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life - Titus 3:4-7.

We have the assurance in the day of judgment

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world - 1 John 4:17. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing - 2 Timothy 4:8. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day - 2 Timothy 1:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the blessed assurance You have given us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:57.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

Galatians 4:7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Ephesians 1:5 Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Draw Near To God And He Will Draw Near To You

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:8.

God has opened up the new and living way to enter His presence any time through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:19-22.

God is able to save all those who draw near to Him. He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them - Hebrews 7:25. Let us draw near to God with confidence in time of need to receive His mercy and grace. Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.

Our God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and so let us draw near to Him with faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who draws near to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him - Hebrews 11:6. He will draw near to us as we draw near to Him. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon - Isaiah 55:6-7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us the awesome privilege to draw close to You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Boast In The Cross

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world - Galatians 6:14.

There is nothing to boast in our life except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the place where Christ shed His blood and paid the price for our sins. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God - 1 Corinthians 1:18. We are saved by His grace and not by our works to boast. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast - Ephesians 2:8,9.

There is no greater joy in the world than to boast the Lord. My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice - Psalm 34:2. In God we have boasted all day long, And we will give thanks to Your name forever - Psalm 44:8. Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches" - Jeremiah 9:23.

Let us boast our Lord alone. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken! - Jeremiah 9:24. Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord - 1 Corinthians 1:31.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us not to boast anything in the world except You. Let Your cross be our glory forever. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Will Give You A New Heart

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh - Ezekiel 36:26.

A heart to know God

Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart - Jeremiah 24:7.

A heart to fear God

I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them – Jeremiah 32:39.

A heart to hide God’s Word

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You - Psalm 119:11.

A heart to know His purposes

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them - Hebrews 10:16.

A heart at peace

A heart at peace gives life to the body - Proverbs 14:30.

A heart to discern and be wise

God gave Solomon a wise and discerning heart as he asked God to give him an understanding heart to judge people. I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be - 1 Kings 3:12.

A heart with God’s love

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us - Romans 5:5.

A clean heart

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me - Psalm 51:10.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for changing our heart and giving us a new heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We Live Through Christ Who Loved Us And Sent His Only Begotten Son

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him - 1 John 4:9.

God gave His one and only son for us to live through Him. For in Him we live and move and have our being - Acts 17:18. He is the living God and we live in Him. For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him - Luke 20:38. Everything we need is in Him and we are complete in Him. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power - Colossians 2:9,10.

Jesus is the way truth and the life. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" - John 14:6. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God - Ephesians 2:18,19.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life and we live as we believe Him. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live - John 11:25. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me - Galatians 2:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the life we live by faith through You who loved us and gave Yourself for us.  In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Love of Money Is The Root of All Kinds of Evil

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows - 1 Timothy 6:10.

Judas being a disciple of Jesus is s lover of money as he started stealing money from the money box. But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it - John 12:4-6.

The love of money led to many other sins in the life of Judas. He betrayed Jesus for just thirty pieces of silver. Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, 'What will you give me if I betray him to you?' They paid him thirty pieces of silver. And from that moment he began to look for an opportunity to betray him - Matthew 26: 14-16.

We cannot serve both God and money. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon - Mathew 6:24. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also - Matthew 7:21. Set your mind on things above and not on things on earth - Colossians 3:2.

PRAYER: Help us to set our mind on things above and not be lovers of money. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

My Saviour

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world – 1 John 4:14.

Jesus is our Saviour who loved us and saved us. He came to the world as Saviour. He bore our pain and died for us on the cross. He gave His life as a ransom for many. There is none like our Lord God and Saviour.

To save us

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost - Luke 19:10. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21.

To destroy the works of devil

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work -1 John 3:8.

To give us an eternal life

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

To give us an abundant life

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10.

To give us light

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness - John 12:46.

To reveal God’s glory

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth - John 1:14.4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Saviour. We thank You for coming to the world to save us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

You Are My Friends

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you - John 15:14.

Love one another

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you - John 15:12,

Serve one another

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another - Galatians 5:13.

Accept one another

With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love - Ephesians 4:2.

Comfort one another

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing - I Thessalonians 5:11

Build others up

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen - Ephesians 4:29.

Give to others

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you - Luke 6:38.

Live in peace with one another

Be at peace among yourselves - I Thessalonians 5:13

God's Family

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God - Ephesians 2:19.

We are the members of God’s family. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will - Ephesians 1:4,5. Let us thank God who had given us the greatest privilege of being a part of His family.

God gave us the right to become His children as we receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God - John 1:12,13. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God - 1 John 3:1.

We are the children of God, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ - Romans 8:16,17. Let us cast all our cares upon our Father as we have received the Spirit of adoption. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father” - Romans 8:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your great love You have lavished on us to be called as Your children and to be in Your family as members of Your household. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

By His stripes we are healed

By His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5.

Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities and by His stripes we are healed. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities - Isaiah 53:5. He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed - 1 Peter 2:24. He is our Healer. I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26. He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds - Psalm 147:3. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit - Psalm 34:18.

Jesus healed all those who had need of healing. But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing - Luke 9:11. When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses” - Matthew 8:16,17. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all - Matthew 12:!5. He healed all kinds of diseases and sickness. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people - Matthew 4:21.

Let us praise the Lord our Healer who heals all our diseases. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases - Psalm 103:1-3. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise - Jeremiah 17:14. For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord - Jeremiah 30:17. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord - Psalm 118:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals us and by Your stipes we are healed. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Peace & Prosperity

Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces - Psalm 122:7.

God had made peace for us through His blood. Having made peace through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:20. He had given us His peace that the world cannot give for us to live peacefully. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid  - John 14:27. My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places - Isaiah 32:18.

Jesus endured poverty so that we might live in prosperity. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich - 2 Corinthians 8:9. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers - 3 John 2.

Let God’s peace be in our home and in all that we have. Peace be to you, peace to your house, and peace to all that you have - 1 Samuel 25:6. This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it - Psalm 132:14. No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling - Psalm 91:10. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous - Psalm 118:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let there be peace within our walls and prosperity within our palaces. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Do Everything For God's Glory

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples - John 15:8.

Jesus endured his final hours of suffering for God’s glory. Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’?  But for this purpose I have come to this  hour. Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” - John 12:27-28. Jesus said that he answers prayer our for Father to be glorified. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son - John 14:13. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me - Psalm 50:15.

God chose us for his glory. Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.  In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. God created us for his glory - Ephesians 1:4 - 6. You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified - Isaiah 49:3.

God instructs us to do everything for his glory. So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God - I Corinthians 10:31. Having your conduct honorable among the  Gentiles that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation - 1 Peter 2:12  Let us give glory to our God. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven - Matthew 5:16.

PRAYER: Let us do all for Your glory and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

His Abundant Mercy

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - 1 Peter 1:3.

Our God is abundant in mercy. But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth - Psalm 86:15. His mercy is abundant to those who call upon Him. For You Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You - Psalm 86:5.  Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin - Isaiah 51:1,2.

God’s mercy is abundant for us. The iniquity of us is laid on Him as we all sinned. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all - Isaiah 53:6. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more - Jeremiah 31:34. His mercy is so abundant to provide forgiveness to all our iniquities. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea - Micah 7:19.

We are born again and begotten to a living hope by God’s abundant mercy. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us - Ephesians 2:4. Let us thank God for His abundant mercy in our life. Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you - Jude 1:2. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life - Psalm 23:6.

PRAYER: We thank You for Your abundant mercy towards us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
