Today In The Town of David A Savior Has Been Born To You

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord - Luke 2:10.

To save us from sins

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21.

 To destroy the devil’s work

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work - 1 John 3:8.

To deliver us from the power of darkness

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1:13.

To bring light to the dark world

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46.

To give us an abundant life

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10.

To serve and to give His life as a ransom for many

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.

To do the will of the Father

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me - John 6:38.

To call sinners to repentance

For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance - Mathew 9:13.

To give us an everlasting life

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

For us to live forever

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world - John 6:51.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law - Galatians 4:4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for coming to the world to save us and to give us an eternal life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
