Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy - Psalm 43:4.
The birth of Jesus brought great joy to the whole world. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord" - Luke 2:10,11. The shepherd and the wise men were filled with great joy when they heard about the birth of Jesus. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy - Mathew 2:10.
God is our exceeding joy. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory - 1 Peter 1:8. He is the one who turns all our sorrow into joy. your sorrow will be turned into joy - John 16:20. Let us rejoice in the Lord always who is our exceeding joy and be joyful in all situations. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! - Philippians 4:4. The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10. In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11.
Let us praise God who came to the world to bring us joy. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises - Psalm 98:4. So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away - Isaiah 51:11. You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound - Psalm 4:7.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for coming to the world to bring us joy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
