Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name - Philippians 2:9.
Jesus being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God but made himself nothing and came to the world in the likeness of human. So, God exalted Jesus to the the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death -even death on a cross! - Philippians 2:6-8.
So, God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:9-11.
Let us praise the name of the Lord that is above every name and lift His name on high. From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord’s name is to be praised - Psalm 113:3. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it - John 14:14. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12.
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! - Psalm 8:1.
Blessed be His glorious name forever! - Psalm 72:19.
Blessed be the name of God forever and ever - Daniel 2:20.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is above all names. We lift Your name on high as You came from heaven to earth in the likeness of man to save us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
