Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you - Ephesians 4:32.
Be kind and compassionate to one another
Our God is kind and compassionate to all and He wants us to be kind and compassionate to one another. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made - Psalm 145:8,9. An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up - Proverbs 12:25. Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous - 1 Peter 3:8. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience - Colossians 3:12.
Forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you
God had forgiven all our sins and He remembers our sins no more. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more - Jeremiah 31:34. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace - Ephesians 1:7. Let us also forgive each other as Christ had forgiven us. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do - Colossians 3:12,13.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be kind and compassionate to one another and forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
