God Sent His Son To The World For Us

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

To give us light

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness -  John 12:46.

To give us an abundant life

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly - John 10:10.

To save us

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him - John 3:17.

To destroy works of the devil

At the incarnation, our Savior came not only to defeat death but also to destroy the works of the devil - 1 John 3:8.

To seek and save the lost

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost - Luke 19:10.

To serve us and to give His life as a ransom for many

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.

To proclaim good news

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,   to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor - Luke 4:18-19.

To give us an eternal life

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

To do the will of Father

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me - John 6:38.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for coming to the world to save us, serve us and to give us an abundant life and eternal life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
