Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you - Jeremiah 32:17.
Sarah laughed when she was told that she will have a son. But God spoke to her that she will have a son this time next year. Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son - Genesis 18:14. God blessed Sarah with a son as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him - whom Sarah bore to him - Isaac - Genesis 21:2.
Mary was troubled when angel Gabriel announced Mary that she will conceive and bring forth a Son called Jesus and wondered how can this be. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” - Luke 1:31, 34. God reminded Mary that nothing will be impossible with Him. Mary believed God's Word and immediately submitted herself to His will. For nothing will be impossible with God. And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word” - Luke 1:37-38.
Nothing is too hard for our Lord God. I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? - Jeremiah 32:27. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 5;9. God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17. With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible - Matthew 30:26. I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You - Job 42:2. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Sovereign Lord. We thank You as nothing is too hard for You and we believe that You will do everything beautiful for us in its time. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
