Morning By Morning

Morning by morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; morning by morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation - Psalm 5:3.

The first thing that David did every morning was to lift his voice to the Lord. He lay his requests before God and wait in expectation for God to hear his voice in the morning. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water - Psalm 63:1.

God's mercies are new every morning. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22-23. Joy comes with the morning and so let us rejoice and be glad each day made by the Lord. Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning - Psalm 30:5. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24.

Let us lift our voice to the Lord every morning, lay our requests before him and wait in expectation with hope in His Word. I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:147. Those that seek me early shall find me - Proverbs 8:17. To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night - Psalm 92:2. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life - Psalm 143:8.

Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever - Psalm 145:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us lift our voice to You every morning, lay our requests before You and wait in expectation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
