Our God Is Awesome In His Doing

Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men - Psalm 66:5.

Our God is awesome and His doings are awesome. In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; He is more awesome than all who surround him - Psalm 89:7. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe - Deuteronomy 10:17. He is our awesome healer, provider, protector and deliverer. By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation - Psalm 65:5.

God redeemed the people of Israel from Egypt by His awesome deeds. And who is like your people Israel - the one nation on earth whose God went out to redeem a people for himself, and to make a name for yourself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? - 1 Chronicles 17:21. PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your awesome deeds in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Peter’s mother-in-law immediately got healed from fever

Bountiful Harvest

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully - 2 Corinthians 9:6.

We will reap what we sow. For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life - Galatians 6:7,8. When we sow, God will not only supply seed but multiply and increase our harvest. He who supplied it is able to multiply it and increase the harvest of your righteousness. He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness - 2 Corinthians 9:10.

Let us sow the Word of God bountifully and reap the souls bountifully. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown - Matthew 13:23. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up - Galatians 6:9.

May God help us to reap the harvest bountifully with praise and joy at right time. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us - Psalm 67:5,6. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him - Psalm 126:5,6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving us a bountiful harvest. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Who Remembered Us In Our Lowly State

Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:23.

God remembered us in our lowly state though He is the Most High God. Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly - Psalm 138:6. He remembered Hannah and Rachel in their afflictions. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her - 1 Samuel 1:19. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb - Genesis 30:22. He remembered Joseph and made him as the leader of Egypt. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt” - Genesis 41:41.

When the people of Israelites suffered in Egypt, God delivered them as He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob - Exodus 2:24. He remembers and fulfills the promises that He made for us. He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations - Psalm 105:8

Let us thank God who remembered us in our lowly state. The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you - Isaiah 49:15. We will never be forgotten by God who created us. Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! - Isaiah 44:21.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for remembering us in our lowly state. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Generous

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself - Proverbs 11:25.

God loves a cheerful giver. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you - Luke 6:38. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice - Psalm 112:5. Let us give generously to the poor and be blessed. A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor - Proverbs 22:9.

God will deliver us, strengthen us and sustain us during the time of trouble when we are generous to the poor. Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed - Psalm 41:1-3.

Let us be generous on every occasion that will result in thanksgiving to God. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God - 2 Corinthians 9:11. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing - Psalm 37:26. Command them to be good, to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share - 1 Timothy 6:18. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord and He will repay him for his deed - Proverbs 19:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be generous on every occasion. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Beyond Our Comprehension

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom - Psalm 145:3.

The love that God has for us is far beyond our comprehension. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8. His love is great for those who fear Him. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear him - Psalm 103:11. His love is everlasting and unconditional. God says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3).

God’s thoughts, wisdom, knowledge and understanding are very deep beyond our comprehension.  O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep - Psalm 92:5. His understanding is unsearchable - Isaiah 40:28. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” - Romans 11:33,34. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” - 1 Corinthians 2:16.

The wonders and miracles that God performs in our life is beyond our comprehension. God performs wonders that cannot be fathomed and miracles that cannot be counted. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted - Job 9:10. Our God is awesome and His works are awesome beyond our comprehension. Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You” - Psalm 66:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for great and awesome works in our life that are beyond our comprehension. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
