God Who Remembered Us In Our Lowly State

Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:23.

God remembered us in our lowly state though He is the Most High God. Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly - Psalm 138:6. He remembered Hannah and Rachel in their afflictions. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her - 1 Samuel 1:19. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb - Genesis 30:22. He remembered Joseph and made him as the leader of Egypt. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt” - Genesis 41:41.

When the people of Israelites suffered in Egypt, God delivered them as He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob - Exodus 2:24. He remembers and fulfills the promises that He made for us. He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations - Psalm 105:8

Let us thank God who remembered us in our lowly state. The Lord remembers us and will bless us - Psalm 115:12. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you - Isaiah 49:15. We will never be forgotten by God who created us. Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! - Isaiah 44:21.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for remembering us in our lowly state. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
