Be Generous

             The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself - Proverbs 11:25.

                  God loves a cheerful giver. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you - Luke 6:38. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice - Psalm 112:5. Let us give generously to the poor and be blessed. A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor - Proverbs 22:9.

            God will deliver us, strengthen us and sustain us during the time of trouble when we are generous to the poor. Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed - Psalm 41:1-3.

               Let us be generous on every occasion that will result in thanksgiving to God. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God - 2 Corinthians 9:11. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing - Psalm 37:26. Command them to be good, to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share - 1 Timothy 6:18. Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord and He will repay him for his deed - Proverbs 19:17.
