And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.
Joseph
was sold to the Ishmaelites as he was hated by his brothers. Then Midianite
traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the
pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they
took Joseph to Egypt - Genesis 37:28. He was thrown into prison because of the false
accusation of Potiphar’s wife. Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into
the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there
in the prison - Genesis 39:20.
The Lord was with Joseph in all his circumstances.
He was made as the leader of Egypt. Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh,
and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of
Egypt” - Genesis 41:44. The evil done to Joseph by his brothers was meant for good
by God. But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good,
in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive -
Genesis 50:20.
All things worked for good in Joseph’s life. He became a great blessing for his family and people of Egypt. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones. And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them - Genesis 50:21. Let us not look at the hardships what we face now and become frustrated. God promises not to leave us nor forsake us. Let us trust God and move forward in life as all things work together for good in our life. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for loving us and being with us in all circumstances of our life. We believe that all things work
for good in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
