Then the word of the Lord came to
Jeremiah, saying, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there
anything too hard for Me? – Jeremiah 32:26,27.
God had already
promised Abraham that Isaac will be born and he will be the father of many
nations. To encourage Sarah, God again promised Abraham that his wife Sarah
will have a son. When Sarah heard this, she laughed within herself as both
Abraham and Sarah were well advanced in age. And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why
did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the
appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah
shall have a son.”- Genesis 18:13,14.
All things are possible
with God. Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did
for Sarah what he had promised. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in
his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was
born to him - whom Sarah bore to him - Isaac. Genesis 21:1-3.
Our God is the God of
promises and His promises never fail. There is no promise that is too hard for
God to fulfill. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to
the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20. Let us trust in God in all our situations. God will fulfill all His promises in our life as nothing is too hard for Him.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the
promise keeper. We believe that nothing is too hard for You to help us in all
our impossible situations. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
