You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You
shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7.
David says in Psalm 27:5 that “For in the time
of trouble, He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His
tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.” David kept God
as his refuge and hiding place whenever troubles surrounded him. God will
protect us also whenever we take refuge in Him.
When
we fear God and trust in Him, He will hide us in the secret place of His
presence from the plots of man. (Psalm 31:19, 20). God knows our sitting down
and rising up and He even discerns our thoughts from far away. He protects us by
hiding us under the shadow of His wings.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings -.
Psalm 17:8.
As
God is our hiding place, His hedge of protection will be always around us and He will surround us with songs of deliverance. You are my
hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. - Psalm 119:114. God’s word is
our hope and as long as we seek the presence of God, His mighty protection will be always with us.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our hiding place
and shield. Hide us under the shadow of Your wings. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
