Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians
4:6.
When Paul was under house arrest awaiting trial with a possible outcome
of severe torture followed by death sentence, he said not to worry about
anything in his letter to the church of Philippe. In our tough times rather than letting ourselves to sink deeper in
pain, let us pour out our heart to God. We have a great privilege of asking
everything to God in prayer. In every situation, let us thank God for what God He had done in our lives and ask God for what we need.
The peace of God will guard our hearts and minds once we have presented all our requests to the Lord. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7. Hannah
poured out her heart to God in the midst of her anguish and she left in peace.
God heard her prayer and gave her a son.
Let our prayer be filled with praises and petitions. Call to Me, and I
will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah
33:3. Pray about everything as God wants us to talk with Him in every situation.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit
the righteous to be moved - Psalm 55:22.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for giving
us the privilege to ask You everything in prayer. We submit everything to You
and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
