Abide in Me, and I in you. As the
branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you,
unless you abide in Me. John 15:4.
God calls us to abide
in Him. When we abide in God, His life flows through us and we will bear much
fruits. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing - John 15:5. God had planted
us on this earth for a great purpose to bear more fruits. Therefore let us
abide in God and bear much fruits.
When
God’s word abide in us, what we desire and ask God will be done by Him. If you
abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it
shall be done for you - John 15:7. God delights in answering the prayers of
those who abide in the word of God. Let the word of God dwell in us richly to abide
in God.
We can abide in the love of God, when we obey
His commandments. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My
love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love – John 15:9,10. Keep
the commandments of God to abide in God’s love. Jesus answered and said to him,
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We
will come to him and make Our home with him – John 14:23.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Teach us to abide in You.
Let us always abide in You and lead a fruitful life. In Jesus name we pray.
