God is Our Deliverer

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2.

                        Our God is the deliverer. Psalm 18 is the Psalm of David that was written when God delivered David from the hand of Saul. The Lord delivers all those who love Him. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him - Psalm 91:14,15.

                      God delivers the righteous people from all their afflictions. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all - Psalm 34:19. The Israelites had spent 400 years as slaves in Egypt. God delivered them out of slavery in Egypt and led them into the promised land. He delivers the poor in their affliction, and opens their ears in oppression - Job 36:15.

                         I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears – Psalm 34:4. God delivers us from all fears, anxieties, sicknesses, evil and from all the snares of our enemies. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions - Psalm 107:20. When we call upon the Lord, He hears us and delivers us. Call me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you – Psalm 50:15. When we fear the Lord, He protects us and delivers us. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them – Psalm 34:7.

                                                      

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our deliverer and we trust in You. Help us to always seek the deliverance that only You can bring us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
