Receive Wisdom From God

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6.

                           God’s word promises us that if we ask God for wisdom, He will give us generously. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you - James 1:5. The wisdom of God in us help us to make good decisions in life. Like Solomon, let us ask wisdom from God. In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge -  Colossians 2:3.

                       God’s word is full of wisdom and so let us gain wisdom by meditating the word of God. The word of God speaks with us and makes us wise. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple - Psalm 19:7. Let the word of God dwell richly within us to be wise.

                      Wisdom gives: a long, good life, riches, honor, pleasure, peace.  Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit; happy is the man who keeps on eating it - Proverbs 3:16,17. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom. Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches - Proverbs 24:3,4. Let us receive wisdom from God and apply it to our daily living.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the source of all wisdom. Grant us the spirit of wisdom and revelation to lead a successful life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
