Returning To Give Thanks To The Lord

I will give You thanks with all my heart - Psalm 138:1.

Ten lepers who met Jesus lifted up their voices and asked mercy for them. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” - Luke 17:13. Jesus told them to show themselves to the priests. The lepers obeyed God and as they went, they were cleansed. So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed - Luke 17:14.
One of them who saw that he was healed returned to give thanks to Jesus. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan - Luke 17: 15.16. Though ten lepers were healed, only one returned to thank Jesus. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”  And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well” - Luke 17:17-19.
Let us take time to think about all the things God has done for us. Being filled with gratitude, return to God and thank Him for all He has done. Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples - Psalm 105:1. Let us not forget the goodness of God in our life. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits - Psalm 103:2. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever - Psalm 136:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all You have done for us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We Serve A Mighty God

Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding - Job 36:5.

Our God is great and mighty in power and strength. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome - Deuteronomy 10:17. His name is Mighty God. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6. He created all things in heaven and earth mightily. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth - Colossians 1:16.
Our Lord is mighty in battle. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle - Psalm 24:8.  He is the mighty warrior who saves us. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves - Zephaniah 3:17.  He is the mighty God who fights for us and protects us against all the plans of enemies. He is great and mighty in power. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite - Psalm 147:5.
We serve a mighty God and there is nothing too hard for Him to solve. Jeremiah 32:17 says: “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You.” Let us praise God for all His mighty acts in our life. Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness - Psalm 150:2. What a Mighty God we Serve!!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Mighty God. We praise You for Your great and mighty works in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Ambassadors For Christ

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God  - 2 Corinthians 5:20.

God has called us as ambassadors for Him. An ambassador is the one who represents his home country while living and working in a foreign land. As our citizenship is in heaven, we are the ambassadors of kingdom of heaven. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ - Philippians 3:20. Though we live in this world, we are not of the world as we are the citizens of heaven. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world - John 17:16.
God has chosen us and appointed us as ambassadors to bear fruit. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you - John 15:16. By carrying God's mind, let us represent God’s reconciling love to others. But we have the mind of Christ - 1 Corinthians 2:16. We should also have a constant communication with God as we are the ambassadors for Christ. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21.
As ambassadors for Christ, let us build the kingdom of God by spreading the gospel and living a life that reflects Christ. Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done -Psalm 105:1. God has called us to go out to all the world and make disciples of all nations. You are the light of the world - Mathew 5:14. Being the light of the world and ambassadors for Christ, let us preach the gospel boldly. I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak - Ephesians 6:19,20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to do great things in this world as Your ambassadors. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Will Restore What Was Lost

So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten - Joel 2:25.

Our God is faithful to restore us whatever we have lost. Job lost his health, possessions and children. God turned his captivity when he prayed for his friends. And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before - Job 42:10. He blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part - Job 42:12.
David started to worship God when he lost his son. So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped - 2 Samuel 12:20. Later, God blessed David and Bathsheba with another son named Solomon, who became the richest and wisest king in the world.
God restores our soul with goodness. He will restore our health, joy and peace that was stolen by the enemy. For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds - Jeremiah 30:17. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. God will lift us up and restore what we have lost in double portion. Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you - Zechariah 9:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for restoring us everything that we have lost in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Seek God Early

Those that seek me early shall find me - Proverbs 8:17.

Those who seek God early will find Him. Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near - Isaiah 55:6. Jesus used the early morning hours to connect with God. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed - Mark 1:35. Abraham sought the God early in the morning. And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord - Genesis 19:27.
David chose to seek God early in the morning. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water - Psalm 63:1. Let us praise God, meditate the word of God and lay all our requests to God before the start of the day. To declare Your loving kindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night - Psalm 92:2. I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for help; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:147. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3.
Early morning is the most peaceful and quiet time to spend with God. Every day is a gift of God and the mercies of God are new every morning. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22,23. When we seek God early, we will receive the mercies of God and He will show us His ways. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life - Psalm 143:8. Let us make a commitment to seek God early in the morning.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Give us the grace to seek You early in the morning. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Faith That Moves Mountains

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.

The words that we speak have tremendous power. The main key to move mountains in our life is to speak to the mountains with a mustard seed faith. I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you - Mathew 7:20. Start speaking to the problem of mountains instead of talking about the problem. Our God is bigger than any mountain we face in life. He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world - 1 John 4:4.
Another key to move the mountains in our life and to receive whatever things we pray for is to ask God in faith without any doubt. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord - James 1:6,7. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them - Mark 11:24.
Faith moves mountains and opens the door of miracles. Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief - Mathew 13:58. When we speak God’s word with faith to all the mountains in our life, we will have whatever we say. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Mark 11:22,23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to move the mountains in our life by speaking to it with a mustard seed faith. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Is Our Righteous Judge

Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments - Psalm 119:137.

Our God is righteous and all His judgements are righteous. Righteous are You, O Lord, And upright are Your judgments - Psalm 119:137. He is righteous and gracious in all His ways. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works - Psalm 145:17. Our God who is righteous loves righteousness. For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright  (Psalm 11:7).
God judges righteously and there is no partiality in Him. For the Lord is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness - Psalm 98:9. For there is no partiality with God - Romans 2:11. We serve a loving God who is also a righteous judge. “Fear God,” he shouted. Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge - Revelation 14:7a. Let us worship our God with reverence as He is a consuming fire.
God will sit on His throne and judge each one of us according to our actions. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad - 2 Corinthians 5:10. Our God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. And now the prize awaits me - the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.” 2 Timothy 4:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being our righteous judge. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Reveals Us Deep And Hidden Things

I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places - Isaiah 45:3.

God reveals His secrets to all those who fear Him. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant - Psalm 25:14. God made His ways known to Moses who had a close walk with Him. He made known His ways to Moses - Psalm 103:7. All secret things belong to the Lord and He is the revealer of deep and secret things to us. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him - Daniel 2:22. He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ - Ephesians 1:9.
When we call upon God, He will show us great and mighty things which we never know. Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know - Jeremiah 33:3. He reveals His plans to all those who seek Him. Seek, and you will find - Mathew 7:7. God’s word shines light to our path. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130. God will give us discernment and direction in our life as we walk with Him closely.
The Holy Spirit will bring all the hidden things to light. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God - I Corinthians 2:10. Let us unlock the deep things of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. God also speaks to us through dreams and visions to reveal His plans about us and hidden traps of enemy. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts - 1 Corinthians 4:5. May the Lord give us the spirit of revelation and enlighten the eyes of our understanding.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Reveal us the hidden things and secrets about everything in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Eternal God Is Our Refuge

The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms - Deuteronomy 33:27.

The eternal God is our refuge. David always confessed that God is His refuge. He had trust in God who is a refuge and poured out his heart before Him. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8. O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction - Jeremiah 16:19. God who is eternal is our refuge in the day of affliction. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust” - Psalm 91:2.
Let us turn to God for refuge who is always present in all our troubles. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling - Psalm 46:1,2. We can face any situation without fear as God who is our refuge is with us. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge - Psalm 46:7.
God’s unfailing love is priceless. Let us take refuge in the shadow of His wings for protection. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings - Psalm 36:7. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings - Psalm 61:3,4. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him - Psalm 34:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being our refuge. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Wait Patiently For The Lord To Act

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7.

James says that the farmer waits patiently for the precious fruit of the earth. He waits for the early rain to help the seed take root and the latter rain to help sustain the plant until the harvest. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain- James 5:7,8. Just like the farmer, let us also wait patiently for the Lord to act. He will surely give us the best in His time.
God will provide us grace and renew our strength as we wait patiently on Him. We will rise up with wings like eagles. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31. Let us gain our strength by waiting on the Lord. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord - Psalm 27:14.
God will exalt us to inherit the earth as we wait on Him and keep His ways. Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land - Psalm 37:34. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth - Psalm 37:9. Let us wait patiently with faith by resting on God’s word and prayer. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope - Psalm 130:5. In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation - Psalm 62:1.

Prayer: Dear Lord, Help us to wait patiently on You to act in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Give What You Have

Give, and it will be given to you - Luke 6:38.

God wants us to use our time, talent and treasure to honor Him. A boy who had five barley loaves and two fish gave them away when the disciples asked (John 6: 9). Because of his great sacrifice, nearly 5000 people were fed in the wilderness. A poor widow put in two very small copper coins into the temple treasury. Her sacrifice was so costly as she gave her all to the Lord, not thinking of her future though she was poor (Luke 21: 1- 4).
A woman came to Jesus with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on the head of Jesus. She was appreciated by Jesus for her great sacrifice (Mark 14: 1- 9). They all have done great things for the Lord. It is more blessed to give than to receive - Acts 20:35. Let us store our treasures in heaven. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also - Mathew 6:21.
Let us invest our time to build the kingdom of God with a willing heart. Do not be unwise but wise, making the best use of your time, because the times are evil - Ephesians 5:15-16. Let us give all our talents and gifts to glorify God. Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully - 2 Corinthians 9:6,7. May we use our time, talent and treasure which we have to honor God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We offer our life to You. Let us use our time, talent and treasure for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Do Not Fear Only Believe

But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well” - Luke 8:50.

Jairus, who was a ruler of the synagogue came to Jesus as his only daughter was sick. My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live. And He went with him - Mark 5:23,24. Jairus was in need of a miracle and he was so close to get that blessing. But Jesus had to spend some time in conversation with the woman who had the issue of blood for twelve years. At that time, someone came and told that the daughter of Jairus is dead.
Jesus encouraged Jairus not to fear but only to believe. While he was still speaking, there came from the ruler's house some who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe” - Mark 5:35,36. Jesus did not forget about Jairus even though He stopped to bless a woman. It is easy for Jairus to believe God when the girl was sick as she can recover if Jesus heals her. But though it is very hard to hold faith after hearing that the girl was dead, Jairus was not afraid but only believed God.
Jesus said that the girl was not dead but asleep and restored her back to life. Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” And immediately the girl got up and began walking – Mark 5:41,42. All things are possible for one who believes - Mark 9:23. Whatever our fears may be, God tells us not to fear but only to believe. When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, In God I trust; I will not be afraid - Psalm 56:3-4.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us only to believe You and not fear about anything. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Are The Merciful

Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy - Mathew 5:7.

A man who went down from Jerusalem to Jericho on a journey was attacked, robbed, beaten by thieves and left half dead. A Priest who came by that road saw the man and passed on the other side. A Levite who arrived at that place saw the man and passed by another side. A Samaritan who came there had compassion on the man when he saw him. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion -Luke 10:33.
The Samaritan went to him, bandaged his wounds, brought him to an inn and took care of him. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him - Luke 10:34. He showed mercy on him. So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves? And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise” -Luke 10:36,37.
We honor God when we show mercy to the needy people. He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy - Proverbs 14:31. God wants us to love mercy. He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? - Micah 6:8. If we are merciful to others, we are blessed and God will be merciful to us. Like the good Samaritan, let us show mercy to others. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him - Psalm 103:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord. Help us to be merciful to others. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We Live By Every Word of God

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God - Luke 4:4.

God’s word is the food that nourishes our inner man. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby - 1 Peter 2:2. The word of God has the life-giving power as it is the life that gives health to our flesh. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22.
When the devil tempted Jesus to turn the stones into bread, the Lord replied that a man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). The word of God purifies us and builds us up. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth - John 17:17. To the word of His grace, which is able to build you up - Acts 20:32. Let us taste and see that the Lord is good by feeding upon the word of God every day.
The word of God refreshes our soul, makes us wise, gives us joy and gives light to our eyes. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes - Psalm 19:7,8. Let us live by every word of God. Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your word that gives us life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Is In Control

A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps - Proverbs 16:9.

God is Sovereign and He has control over all things. He controls nations and its leaders. God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne - Psalm 47:8. A king's heart is a water channel in the Lord's hand: He directs it wherever He chooses - Proverbs 21:1. He controls nature. He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow - Psalm 147:18. He is in control of us. My times are in Your hand - Psalm 31:15.
Joseph knew that God is in control of his life as everything work for good to those who love God. He told his brothers that God had turned what they have done evil against him for good.  Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good - Genesis 50:19-20. Job confessed that God can do all things. I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted - Job 42:2.
There is a purpose for every situation in our life as God is in control. We are in the loving care of God and He knows all about us. He will use our situation to get us into the place He has positioned for us. He is the powerful God who is in control of everything. Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand - Isaiah 14:24. Let us trust God who is in control.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for everything in our life as You are in control. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Our Awesome God

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome – Deuteronomy 10:17.

Our God is an awesome God. We serve a great and awesome God who calls the stars by name. He is awesome in wisdom, power and love. Let us praise the greatness of our awesome God. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him - Psalm 33:8.
In wisdom
Our God’s wisdom is awesome, rich, and deep. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! - Romans 11:33. He is the only wise God in whom the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3.
In power
Our God is awesome in His power. He made the heavens and earth by His great power. Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You - Jeremiah 32:17. But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding - Jeremiah 10:12. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite - Psalm 147:5.
In love
God’s great love for us is awesome. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16. He loved us so much and gave Himself for us. Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God - Ephesians 5:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You for Your awesome wisdom, power and love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Keys To Access God's Wisdom And Knowledge

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge - Colossians 2:3.

Our God is all-knowing and all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him. He is the only wise God. To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen - Romans 16:27. We need the wisdom of God to make right decisions in every area of our life. God’s wisdom will make us wise and help us to lead a successful life. He shares His wisdom and knowledge with us in the following ways.
Fear of the Lord
The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom - Psalm 111:10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge - Proverbs 1:7. The fear of the Lord is the key to access the treasures of God's wisdom and knowledge. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure - Isaiah 33:6.
Ask the Lord
Another way to access the riches of God’s wisdom and knowledge is to ask the Lord. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him - James 1:5. Like Solomon, let us ask the wisdom from God more than anything. Ask, and it will be given to you - Mathew 7:7. Our God is generous to give us wisdom when we ask Him.
The Word of God
We will receive God’s wisdom and knowledge when the word of God dwells richly in us. See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it. Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding - Deuteronomy 4:5-6. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it - Proverbs 8:33.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us Your wisdom and knowledge. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Practice Hospitality

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it - Hebrews 13:2.

Abraham and Sarah offered generous hospitality to the three men who came to them (Genesis 18:1-15). Without knowing that they were God and two angels, Abraham washed their feet with water, prepared a place for them to take rest and fed them. During that time only, the Lord told Abraham that a son will be born to Sarah within a year. Just as God had promised, Isaac was born to Abraham one year after the visit of the three men.
Rahab received and protected the spies in her home. Then the woman took the two men and hid them - Joshua 2:4. She was spared by Joshua when the city of Jericho was burnt. And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had - Joshua 6:25. We will surely reap in due season when we do good to others. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart - Galatians 6:9.
Hospitality is a gift of God for us to serve Him. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling - 1 Peter 4:9. Let us practice hospitality and help the people who are in need. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality - Romans 12:13. We will be blessed by God when we offer hospitality to one another. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me - Mathew 25:40.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us show hospitality and do good to others. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Valley of Dry Bones

Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live - Ezekiel 37:4.5.

The Lord brought Ezekiel out by His spirit in the midst of a valley that is full of very dry bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry – Ezekiel 37:2. The very dry bones indicate that they had been there for a long time. God then asked Ezekiel if these bones can live. Ezekiel answered that “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” God invited Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones and to see the miracle.
Ezekiel prophesied to the bones as God commanded him. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army - Ezekiel 37:10. We also may find ourselves in the valley full of dry bones with hopeless situations. There may be many bones in our valley that were very dry. God knows the valley of dry bones that we have within us in the past. He can make dead things come to life. He can revive all our dead situations and make all things new. Behold I make all things new - Revelation 21: 5.
Let us speak life into the dry things that we think no longer matter or we have given up hope. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off- Proverbs 23:18. When we speak the word of God which is living and active in our life, it will bring life to all the dry parts of our life. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6. With God’s spirit, all things is possible. Let the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit flow in all our dry situations to be revived to life.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let the valley of dry bones in our life come alive. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Our Inheritance

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will - Ephesians 1:11.

The Lord himself is our inheritance. We belong to God’s royal family as we are His children. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name - John 1:12. We are heirs and joint-heirs of Christ and so we share the same inheritance as Christ. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together - Romans 8:16,17.
As we are the joint-heirs of Christ, we will inherit what is God’s. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. Therefore, we can also inherit the earth and everything in it. The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it - Psalm 24:1. Let us inherit the nations and earth as fellow heirs of God. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession- Psalm 2:8.
We are part of all the blessings of God as we are in His family. Whatever God has, we have. Because as He is, so are we in this world - 1 John 4:17. We are sealed with the Holy spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance. You were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory - Ephesians 1:13,14. Let us praise God who has given us a glorious and rich inheritance.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our inheritance. We thank You for making us heirs and joint heirs with You in Your family. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I Will Rescue Those Who Love Me

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name” - Psalm 91:14.

Daniel continued to pray to God three times a day even though a decree was signed by the king that no one can pray to any God except himself. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days - Daniel 6:10. He chose to obey God rather than men. We ought to obey God rather than men - Acts 5:29.
God honored Daniel for his faithfulness to Him. While Daniel was in the den of lions, God sent His angel to shut the lion’s mouths so that they would not hurt him. My God sent his angel to shut the lion’s mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty - Daniel 6:22. Daniel loved God more than his job and so God rescued him.
God rescues all those love Him and protects all those trust HimThe same lions that did not cause any injury to Daniel, killed all the men who accused Daniel immediately when they were cast into the den. They brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions - them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den - Daniel 6:24. The Lord preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy - Psalm 145:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be faithful to You always. Let us love You more than anything else in this world. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
