God's Delight In Us

For the Lord takes delight in his people – Psalm 149:4.

               God delights in those who fear Him and hope in His Mercy. The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love - Psalm 147:11. God delights to hear our voice in prayer when we are upright. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight- Proverbs 15:8.

             God delights in us when we obey His voice, keep the commands and turn to him with all our heart and soul. The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul - Deuteronomy 30:10. As obedience is better than sacrifice, let us obey God and delight Him.

               When we delight God, He will make even our enemies to be at peace with us. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him - Proverbs 16:7. God will deliver us from all evil. He delivered me because He delighted in me - Psalm 18:19. The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing - Zephaniah 3:17.
