Our God
is faithful to restore us whatever we have lost. Job lost his health,
possessions and children. God turned his captivity when he prayed for his friends.
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the
Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before - Job 42:10. He blessed the latter
days of Job more than his beginning. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s
life more than the former part - Job 42:12.
David started to worship God when
he lost his son. So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself,
and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped -
2 Samuel 12:20. Later, God blessed David and Bathsheba with another son named
Solomon, who became the richest and wisest king in the world.
God restores our soul with goodness. He will
restore our health, joy and peace that was stolen by the enemy. For I will
restore health to you And heal you of your wounds - Jeremiah 30:17. Restore to
me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. God will
lift us up and restore what we have lost in double portion. Return to the
stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore
double to you - Zechariah 9:12.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for
restoring us everything that we have lost in our life. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
