Without God We Can Do Nothing

Without Me you can do nothing - John 15:5.

We cannot do anything without the help of God. Everything we do will be in vain unless the Lord works in our life. Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain - Psalm 127:1. Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that” - James 4:13,15. We will fall and fail when we place our trust on our own riches. Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf - Proverbs 11:28.

We can do all things only through Christ who strengthens us. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13. Every blessing which we have in our life comes only from the Lord. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all - 1 Chronicles 29:12. It is the Lord who raises and blesses us. He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, That He may seat him with princes - With the princes of His people - Psalm 113:7,8. ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6.

Let us not trust on our own strength or our abilities but instead trust God for everything. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever - Psalm 44:6-8. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God - Psalms 20:7. Let us thank God as in Him we live, move and have our being. For in Him we live and move and have our being - Acts 17:28.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We submit ourselves to You. Help us to place all our trust on You for everything. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Be The Name of The Lord

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things! And blessed be His glorious name forever! - Psalm 72:18,19.

The name of the Lord is above every name. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name - Philippians 2:9. We have protection in the name of the Lord. The name of the Lord is a strong tower - Proverbs 18:10. There is power in the name of the Jesus. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13.

The name of the Lord is the greatest defense that we can use to fight against the schemes of devil. David always trusted the name of the Lord. Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” - 1 Samuel 17:45.

Job worshiped and praised the name of the Lord in the midst of his suffering. Blessed be the name of the Lord - Job 1:21. Daniel praised the name of God for His wisdom and power. Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His - Daniel 2:20. Let us praise the name of the Lord that is blessed forever. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever - Psalm 113:2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We lift You up and exalt Your glorious name. Blessed be your name forever. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Understanding Is Infinite

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite - Psalm 147:5.

God’s understanding is infinite. His understanding is beyond measure. His understanding is unsearchable - Isaiah 40:28. He is great and mighty in power. His ways and thoughts are always higher than our ways and thoughts. It is impossible to measure His infinite understanding with our understanding. How great is God - beyond our understanding - Job 36:26.

Our understanding is very limited. The word of God gives us light and understanding. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130. Give me understanding according to Your word - Psalm 119:169. God wants us to receive His understanding by seeking Him. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God - Psalm 14:2.

Let us not lean on our own understanding but instead trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” May the Lord enlighten our eyes of understanding. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints - Ephesians 1:18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Open our eyes of understanding to walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Great is thy faithfulness - Lamentations 3:23.

God's faithfulness is great in our life. His mercies are new every morning and His steadfast love towards us never ends. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations - Psalm 100:5. He is very faithful in protecting us from all harm. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one - 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

God is faithfully meeting all our needs each day. He is an unchanging God in whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning - James 1:17. He had done wonderful things in our life and His perfect faithfulness is sustaining us. Lord, You are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago - Isaiah 25:1.

God is very faithful in fulfilling His promises in our life. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful - Hebrews 10:23. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments - Deuteronomy 7:9. Let us thank God who remains faithful in all circumstances of our life.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your faithfulness that is great in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thanksgiving

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. His love endures forever- Psalm 136:1.

God has blessed us in various ways. There is none like our God who had done great things in our life. There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours- Psalm 86:8. Let us offer our sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord for what He has done in our life and declare His great works with shouts of joy. I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord - Psalm 116:17. Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing - Psalm 107:22.

Thank God for all His blessings

Thank God for always being with us in all situations

When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned - Isaiah 43:2.

Thank God for His Wonderful works in our life

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered - Psalm 40:5.

Thank God for leading us in the right way

And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place - Psalm 107:7.

Thank God for protecting us

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge - Psalm 91:3,4.

Thank God for healing us

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth - Jeremiah 33:6. You restored me to health and let me live - Isaiah 38:16.

Thank God for His guidance

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

Thank God for His Word that strengthened us

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path - Psalm 119:105. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word - Psalm 119:114.

Thank God for all answered prayers

But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer - Psalm 66:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We give You thanks for all the blessings You have given us in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Turns Everything

Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth - Isaiah 40:4.

There is nothing that God cannot turn around. All things are possible with God. He can turn any of our situations. With God all things are possible - Mathew 19:26. He is the Lord who makes road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He works all things for our good. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28. He can turn everything that needs to be changed in our life into good.

Mourning into Dancing

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing - Psalm 30:11.

Sorrow into Joy

Your sorrow will be turned into joy - John 16:20.

Darkness into Light

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light - Psalm 18:28.

Wilderness into Pools of Water

He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into water springs - Psalm 107:35.

Water into Wine

The master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine - John 2:9.

Evil into Good

In the life of Joseph, God turned all the evil that were meant by his brothers into good. But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive - Genesis 50:20.

May God help us to overcome everything and turn all our situations into good.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for turning all our situations into good. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Memorial Stones To Remember God

And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever - Joshua 4:7.

God instructed Joshua to gather twelve stones and build a memorial so that each time the Israelites saw it, they would be reminded that they had not crossed the Jordan on their own strength but because of God. So, they built a memorial that would serve as a reminder of God’s work of deliverance. We too have many memories of experiences of God answering our prayers, God’s marvelous hand of provision and His work of deliverance. There are also memories of many people God has used in our life to build us. Let us be reminded of God’s goodness in our life.

The purpose of this memorial was also for the people of Israel to teach their children about the wonderful works which, God had done for them. This may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever - Joshua 4:6,7. Let us remember to tell our children about the great things God had done for us.

We often forget the marvelous works of God in our life. Let us not forget God’s benefits. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:1-5.

PRAYER:  Dear Lord, Let us always remember Your goodness and declare Your wonderful works to our generation. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Quiet Time With God

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere - Psalm 84:10.

There is nothing better in this world rather than spending our time in the presence of the Lord. God wants us to set aside a quiet time to spend with Him. He said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest” - Mark 6:31. Enoch, Noah and Abraham had quiet time with God and walked with Him.  Daniel got down on his knees three times a day and had quiet time with God.

Jesus had quiet time with God early in the morning. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed - Mark 1:35. Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God - Luke 6:12. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed - Luke 5:16.

God speaks to us and guides us during our quiet time with Him. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11. There is fullness of joy in the presence of God. Let our soul always thirst to have a quiet time with God like the deer that pants for streams of water. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? - Psalm 42:1, 2.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to set aside a quite time to spend with You every day in Your presence. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

To God Be The Glory

Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness - Psalm 115:1.

Our God is the king of glory. He will never yield His glory to another. I will not give My glory to another - Isaiah 48:11. The earth is filled with His glory. The whole earth is full of His glory - Isaiah 6:1. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork - Psalm 19:1. You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power - Revelation 4:11.

We are created for God’s glory. Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth - everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made - Isaiah 43:6-7. Our purpose in life is to glorify God. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever - Psalm 86:12. Whoever offers praise glorifies Me - Psalm 50:23. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God - 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Let us be sure to give God the glory in whatever we do. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O lord; they will bring glory to your name - Psalm 86:9.  Let us tell the great things that He has done and declare His glory among all people. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples - Psalm 96:3. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea - Habakkuk 2:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for creating us for Your glory. We give You all the glory, honor and power. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Names of God

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

God’s names represent who He is to us. He is our provider, healer, banner, sanctification, peace, righteousness and shepherd.

• Jehovah-jireh: “the Lord will provide”

And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided” - Genesis 22:14

• Jehovah-rapha: “the Lord who heals”

If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26.

• Jehovah-nissi: “the Lord is my banner”

And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner - Exodus 17:15

• Jehovah-m’kaddesh: “the Lord who sanctifies”

And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you - Leviticus 20:8.

• Jehovah-shalom: “the Lord is peace”

So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites - Judges 6:24.

• Jehovah-tsidkenu: “the Lord our righteousness”

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS - Jeremiah 23:6.

• Jehovah-rohi: “the Lord our shepherd”

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want - Psalm 23:1.

• Jehovah-shammah: “the Lord is there”

All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE”- Ezekiel 48:35.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is above all names. We thank You for being our provider, healer, banner, sanctification, peace, righteousness and shepherd. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thanking God For His Protection

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not -Lamentations 3:22.

We are alive today by the grace and mercies of the Lord. God’s compassions have no end in our life. We are very safe as He has engraved us on the palm of His hand. He is our refuge, fortress, strength and shield. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer - 2 Samuel 22:2. God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.

God is our protector. He kept us safe from all hidden dangers and deadly diseases. He blessed our going out and coming in. The Lord will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore - Psalm 121:7,8. He is very faithful in protecting us from all evil. No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling - Psalm 91:10. He has put a hedge of protection around us, our household and everything that belongs to us. I will be a wall of fire all around her - Zechariah 2:5.

God also protected us by delivering us from all the trap and snares of enemies. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped -  Psalm 124:6-7. For the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared - Proverbs 3:26. God is good all the time for us. His mercies and goodness will follow us all the days of our life. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life - Psalm 23:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for protecting us and keeping us safe. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Tell Others How Much God Has Done

Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me - Psalm 66:16.

Jesus delivered a man who was possessed by many demons. He lived among the tombs and no one could bind him, not even with a chain. Jesus cast the demons out of his body and the man was set free. Jesus told the man to go home and tell others how God had helped him. The man begged to go with Jesus, but Jesus didn’t let him and told him: “Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19).

The man went away and told others about how much great things Jesus had done for him. So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed - Mark 5:20. He gave God the glory for delivering him when he was helpless. God has chosen us to declare His wonderful deeds. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light - 1 Peter 2:9.

Let us not forget about how much God has done for us. He had done great and marvelous things in our life. The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:3. We live to declare the works of the Lord. Let us be the witnesses of God and tell how much great things He had done for us in our life to others. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth - Acts 1:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank you for all that you have done for us. Help us to tell others how much You have done for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Is In Control

Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth- Psalm 46:10.

God is in control of our life. He works all things in our life perfectly according to the counsel of His will. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will - Ephesians 1:11. There is no need to fear about anything as He is in control. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me - Psalm 23:4.

Joseph understood well that God is in control of his life as he knew that God does everything for good to those who love Him. Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good - Genesis 50:19-20. Job confessed in the midst of trials that God can do everything and no purpose of Him will be withheld as He is in control of his life. I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You - Job 42:2.

Mountains may shake and seas may roar but God is in control. Sometimes things that happen in our life may look beyond our control. But God is in control and He does everything for our good and not for evil. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jeremiah 29:11. Trust God as He is still in control of our life and His thoughts of peace will come to pass. Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand - Isaiah 14:24.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be still as You are in control of our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Remember The Needy

Blessed is the one who is kind to the needy - Proverbs 14:21.

Prayers Heard

God hears the prayers of those who remember the needy. Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard - Proverbs 21:13. We honor God when we remember the needy and show mercy on them. He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy - Proverbs 14:31.

Lack nothing

We will lack nothing when we remember and help the needy. He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses - Proverbs 28:2. God will pay us back when we help the poor. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given - Proverbs 19:17.

Protection & Healing

God promises protection and healing for those who remember the needy. Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; you will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; you will sustain him on his sickbed - Psalm 41:1-3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always remember the needy people and help them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Hear The Voice of God

Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion - Hebrews 3:15.

God has given us a great privilege to hear His voice. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left - Isaiah 30:21. When we draw near to God, we can hear His voice clearly and walk in the right way. Jesus tells us in John 10:27 that, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

God will reveal His plan to those who hear His voice. Samuel heard the voice of God and obeyed to it by submitting himself to God. Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.” Then the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle” - 1 Samuel 3:10,11.

Like Samuel, let us also hear the voice of God and walk in the plan of God. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” - Isaiah 6:8. Let us draw near to God and hear His voice. God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend - Job 37:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us draw near to You to hear Your voice and walk in Your plan. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Reigns And Rules

The Lord reigns; Let the earth rejoice - Psalm 97:1.

The Lord reigns and rules over all things. He is our creator and He has authority over the earth and all of His creation. The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it - Psalm 24:1. The kingdom of God rules over all. The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all - Psalm 103:19. The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength - Psalm 93:1.

Our awesome and majesty God reigns over all nations. God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne - Psalm 47:8. He is the sovereign God who removes kings and raises up kings. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding - Daniel 2:21.

Let the kingdom of God be established on the earth. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven - Matthew 6:10. May the Lord reign and rule our life forever and ever. The Lord shall reign forever and ever - Exodus 15 :18. The Lord shall reign forever - Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord! - Psalm 146:10.

God's Word Lights Our Way

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path that guides us throughout our life. When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life - Proverbs 6:22,23.

God’s word lights our way on the path that is ahead for us and teaches us the right way. I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go - Isaiah 48:17. We will have a light of life when we follow Jesus who is the light of the world.  Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life” (John 8:12).

God’s word directs us to wisdom. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130. In moments of weakness, we find strength in God’s Word. God’s Word lights our way by giving us wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and protection. In Your light we see light - Psalm 36:9. Let us walk in path of light by following the word of God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your Word that lights our way. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thanking God For His Provision

Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20.

God fed Israelites through His miraculous provision. He sent manna when they were hungry. Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will rain down bread from heaven for you’ - Exodus 16:4. When they were thirsty, God sent water gushing from a rock. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink - Exodus 17:6. He rained down meat on them like dust and flying birds like the sand of the sea shore. So they ate and were well filled, For He gave them their own desire - Psalm 78:29.

The name of our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Jesus miraculously fed five thousand people with just 5 loaves of bread and two fish. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes - Mathew 14:19. He is the God who knows all our needs and meets it at the right time.

Let us thank God for His miracles of provision in our life. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19. He cares for us and supplies all our needs without fail every day. "I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord God - Ezekiel 34:15. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation - Psalms 68:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. We thank You for Your miracles of provision in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Measure That We Use

For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you - Luke 6:38.

The measure which we use to give others will be measured back to us. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom - Luke 6:38. If we love others, we will receive love in return. If we hate others. we will get hate in return. If we help others, we will be helped. We will obtain mercy when we are merciful to others. He who despises his neighbor sins; but he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he - Proverbs 14:21.

When we forgive others, God will forgive us. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven - Luke 6:37. God will forgive us only as much as we forgive others. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you - Mathew 6:14. The one who gives will grow richer whereas the one who withholds what he should give will be in poverty. One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want - Proverbs 11:24.

We lend to the Lord when we help the poor and we will be paid back by the Lord. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given Proverbs 19:17. Let us do good to others without expecting anything in return and God will reward us with the same measure that we use. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful - Luke 6:35,36.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to do good to others, as with the same measure we use, it will be measured back to us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Benefits of Praise

I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips - Psalm 34:1.

Praise drives away the spirit of darkness. To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified - Isaiah 61:3. Let us cloth ourselves with the garment of praise.

Praise makes the enemy flee. It pushes back the darkness the surrounds us. In the story of Jehoshaphat, God miraculously defeat the enemy as the people praised God. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated - 2 Chronicles 20:22. Let us make the enemy flee by praising God.

Praise Strengthens our Faith. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God - Romans 4:20.  Abraham grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God. Let us grow strong in faith by praising God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us praise You continually at all times. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Siloam

And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing - John 9:7.

Jesus saw a man who was blind by birth. The disciples asked Him whether he sinned or his parents that he was born blind. Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him” - John 9:3. Jesus also proclaimed Himself as the light of the world. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world - John 9:5.

Jesus anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay He had prepared. When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay - John 9:6. Then Jesus sent the blind man to the pool of Siloam. The blind man obeyed God and went to the pool of Siloam. He washed his eyes and returned seeing. Jesus who is the light of the world gave light to the blind man.

Our Lord is the God of miracles. When others asked the blind man about how he was healed, he told them about how Jesus healed him miraculously. He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight” - John 9:11. Like the blind man, let us also tell of what God had done for us to others. Let us trust and obey God as He will open our eyes to reveal His work in our life.

PRAYER: DEAR Lord, You are the God of miracles. Open our eyes and reveal Your work in us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
