Pray With Thankfulness

I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever - Psalm 86:12.

Every good thing comes from our God. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning - James 1:7. Noah built an altar and gave thanks to God for delivering his family from flood. Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar - Genesis 8:20. This was the first thing that Noah and his family did when the flood ended.

The will of God for us is to pray and give thanks in everything. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Paul and Silas prayed to God with thankfulness in prison. Instead of being anxious, God wants us to submit all our requests in prayer with thanksgiving. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God - Philippians 4:6.

Let us give thanks to God always for all things. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:20. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him - Colossians 3:17. Let us pray to God with thankfulness. I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30.

Dear Lord, We thank You and praise You. Let us always pray with thankfulness in heart. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
