I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips - Psalm 34:1.
Praise drives away the spirit of darkness. To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified - Isaiah 61:3. Let us cloth ourselves with the garment of praise.
Praise makes the enemy flee. It pushes back
the darkness the surrounds us. In the story of Jehoshaphat, God miraculously
defeat the enemy as the people praised God. Now when they began to sing and to
praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount
Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated - 2 Chronicles 20:22.
Let us make the enemy flee by praising God.
Praise Strengthens our Faith. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God - Romans 4:20. Abraham grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God. Let us grow strong in faith by praising God.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us praise
You continually at all times. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
