Arise And Shine For Your Light Has Come

 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you - Isaiah 60:1.

                    God says us to arise from whatever situation we are in and begin to shine so that we can fulfill His purposes for our life. Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light - Ephesians 5:14. Let us arise and make our light shine before all people. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven - Matthew 5: 16.

                There may be darkness over the whole earth but God will arise over us and His glory will be seen upon us. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you - Isaiah 60:2. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ - 2 Corinthians 4:6.

               When our light shines brightly, the gentiles and kings will come to our light. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising - Isaiah 60:3. As our light shines out of darkness, we will become a great blessing for others. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2. May our light shine brightly for the glory of God.                                                   

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to arise and shine our light for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
