Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me - Psalm 66:16.
Jesus delivered a man who
was possessed by many demons. He lived among the tombs and no one could bind him,
not even with a chain. Jesus cast the demons out of his body and the man was
set free. Jesus told the man to go home and tell others how God had helped him. The man begged to go with Jesus, but Jesus didn’t let him and told
him: “Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you,
and how he has had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19).
The man went away and told others about how much
great things Jesus had done for him. So the man went away and began to tell in
the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed - Mark 5:20. He
gave God the glory for delivering him when he was helpless. God has chosen us
to declare His wonderful deeds. But you are a chosen people, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the
praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light - 1
Peter 2:9.
Let us not forget about how much God has done for us. He had done great and marvelous things in our life. The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:3. We live to declare the works of the Lord. Let us be the witnesses of God and tell how much great things He had done for us in our life to others. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth - Acts 1:8.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank you for
all that you have done for us. Help us to tell others how much You have done
for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
