For with God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37.
The angel Gabriel greeted Mary
and told her that she had found favor with God. Then the angel of the Lord told her about the plan of God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and
shall call His name Jesus - Luke 1:31. Mary was troubled at his words and
wondered how it can happen to her. Mary said to the angel, “How can this be,
since I do not know a man?” - Luke 1:34.
God reminded
Mary that nothing will be impossible with Him. Immediately, Mary believed the
word of God and submitted herself to His will. For nothing will be impossible
with God. And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me
according to your word” - Luke 1:37-38. There is nothing too hard for the Lord.
He calls those things which do not exist as though they did - Romans 4:17.
God’s promises never fail. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20. All things are possible with God. Like Mary, let us also submit ourselves to the will of God with faith. But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” - Mathew 19:26.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, With You all things are possible. We submit ourselves to Your will. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
