God's Counsel Stands Forever

 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations - Psalm 33:11.        

             Our God is great in counsel. You are great in counsel and mighty in work - Jeremiah 32:19. He is our Wonderful Counselor. God’s counsel is very important for us to lead a successful life. There may be many plans in our heart but only the counsel of the Lord will stand. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel - that will stand - Proverbs 19:21.

               David praised God for giving him counsels. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons - Psalm 16:7. God works all things after the counsel of His will. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will - Ephesians 1:11. None of the plans of enemy shall come to pass in our life when we seek God’s counsel and walk according to it.      

                God knows all things about our life from the beginning to end far beyond our understanding. Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ - Isaiah 46:10. Let us seek the counsel of God.  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you - Psalm 32:8.                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are great in counsel and Your counsel stands forever. Help us to always seek Your counsel and walk according to it. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
