The Lord Will Be Our Everlasting Light

The Lord will be your everlasting light - Isaiah 60:20.

Our Everlasting light

The Lord is our everlasting light. He is the true light who came to the world to give us light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world - John 1:9. There is no need to fear about anything in this new year as the Lord is our light. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? - Psalm 27:1. He is the sun of righteousness. But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves - Malachi 4:2. We see light in God’s light.  In Your light we see light - Psalm 36:9.

God’s Word is our light

God’s Word which is the light will guide us and lead us in the way we should go. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple - Psalm 119:130. God’s light shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ - 2 Corinthians 4:6.

Shine as lights

We are the light of the world. Let our light shine brighter before all men. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world - Philippians 2:14,15. Let us arise and shine for the glory of God. Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising - Isaiah 60:1, 3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Everlasting Light. In Your light, let us see light and shine as lights in the world. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
