Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance - Mathew 3:8.
We are chosen by God to bear fruits in our
life. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should
go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you - John 15:8,16. God extends His mercy and
grace every year to all of us to bear fruits. But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control - Galatians 5:22,23
Trust God
When our trust and hope is in the
Lord rather than in our situations, we will bear much fruits. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And
whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which
spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its
leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will
cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:7,8.
Abide in God
When we abide in God. we will bear fruits. Abide in Me, and I in you. As
the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither
can you, unless you abide in Me - John 15:4. Let us abide in God and glorify
Him by bearing much fruits. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much
fruit; so you will be My disciples - John 15:8.
Meditate the Word
When we meditate the Word of God day and
night, we will bear fruits. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in
His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers
of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not
wither; and whatever he does shall prosper - Psalm 1:2,3.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us bear fruits worthy of our repentance by trusting You, abiding in You and meditating Your Word. In Jesus name we
pray. Amen.
