Joy And Gladness

 So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away - Isaiah 51:11. 

Joy in the presence of God

              We have fullness of joy in the presence of God. In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore - Psalm 16:11.              

Oil of gladness when we love righteousness

         You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions - Hebrews 1:9. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! - Psalm 32:11.

Oil of joy for mourning

               To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified - Isaiah 61:3.   

Thank God for giving us joy & gladness

                 Let us thank God for giving us joy and gladness in our heart. He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness - Acts 14:17. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased - Psalm 4:7. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice - Psalm 51:8.
