The Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered - Romans 8:26.
The Spirit Himself intercedes for us and helps us in our weaknesses. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God - Romans 6:26, 27.
Jesus made intercession for the transgressors. Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors - Isaiah 53:12. He is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us - Romans 8:34. Let us thank God, our great intercessor who intercedes for us. He intercedes before the Father on our behalf. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 2:25. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them - Hebrews 7:25.
