You will have joy and gladness - Luke 1:14.
Zacharias
The angel told Zacharias that his prayer is heard and he will have joy and gladness over the birth of his son, John. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth - Luke 1:13,14.
Shepherds
The angels brought the good news of great joy about the birth of Jesus to shepherds who were watching over their flock by night. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. - Luke 2:10.
Magi
The magi rejoiced with exceedingly great joy as they saw the star. When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy - Matthew 2:9,10.
May God who is our exceeding joy fill us with great joy and gladness and let us not fear about anything. Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy - Psalm 43:4. In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 61:11. Make me hear joy and gladness - Psalm 51:8. They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing - Psalm 45:15. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased - Psalm 4:7. The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad - Psalm 126:3.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for filling us with joy and gladness. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
