Mary's Faith And Submission To God's Plan

 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord - Luke 1:45.

           Mary was chosen by God to fulfill His plan of salvation. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus - Luke 1:30,31. Mary wondered how such a thing is possible when the angel told her about the plan of God. Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” - Luke 1:34.

      The angel told Mary that the Holy Spirit will be upon her and nothing will be impossible for God. The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God - Luke 1:35. For with God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37.

          Mary believed that all things are possible with God and submitted fully to be used by God according His plan. Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her - Luke 1:38. If you believe, you will see the glory of God - Luke 11:40. 

                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to believe that with You all things are possible and submit to Your plan like Mary. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
