Exceedingly Abundantly Above All That We Ask or Think

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,                                    according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.

God came to this world to give us an abundant life. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10. He who defeated the grave and raised to life is able to do exceedingly and  abundantly above all that we ask or think. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work - 2 Corinthians 9:8.

Exceedingly

I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small - Jeremiah 30:19. Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you - Hebrews 6:14. He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into water springs. There He makes the hungry dwell, That they may establish a city for a dwelling place, And sow fields and plant vineyards, That they may yield a fruitful harvest. He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly - Psalm 107:35-38.

Abundantly

We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance - Psalm 66:12. Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly - Job 8:7. Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!  - Psalm 31:19. You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance - Psalm 65:11.

Above all that we ask or think

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts - Isaiah 55: 8,9. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand - Psalm 139:17,18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for blessing us exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Healed By His Stripes

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5.

Our Healer

Jesus had carried all our sicknesses and diseases on the cross. He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses - Matthew 8:17. He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed - 1 Peter 2:24. We were healed by His stripes. I am the Lord who heals you - Exodus 15:26.

Serve the Lord

God will take sickness away from us as we serve Him. So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you - Exodus 23:25. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord - Psalm 118:17.  For I will restore health to you, and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord - Jeremiah 30:17.

Thank the Lord who heals all our diseases

Let us serve and thank the Lord who heals all our diseases and redeems our life from destruction. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,  Who satisfies your mouth with good things So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s - Psalm 103:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, By Your stripes, we were healed. We thank You for healing all our diseases. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Amazing Love

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

God loved us so much and sent His only son for us that we might live through Him. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins - 1 John 4:9,10.

Christ died for us while we were still sinners and demonstrated His love towards us. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1. We love Him because He first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

Let us thank God who loved us so much and gave Himself for us. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me - Galatians 2:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your amazing love towards us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles - Psalm 34:6.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us - 1 John 5:14

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer - Romans 12:12

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words - Matthew 6:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be faithful and watchful in prayer. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Fruit of The Spirit - LOVE

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,  kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control - Galatians 5:22.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails -  1 Corinthians 13:1-8.

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ - Matthew 22: 37-39.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love - 1 John 4:7.

We love because he first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:10,11.

If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us - 1 John 4:12.

Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth - 1 John 3:18.

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart - 1 Peter 1:22.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works - Hebrews 10:24.

As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love - 2 John 1:6.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also - 1 John 4:20,21.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another - John 13:34,35.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you - Matthew 5:44.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma - Ephesians 5:2.

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves - Romans 12:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to love others like how You loved us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Spiritually Discerned

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned - 1 Corinthians 2:14 .

We need to be spiritually discerned as we cannot believe every spirit. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God - 1 John 4:1. The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart - Proverbs 20:27. To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits - 1 Corinthians 12:10. Jesus discerned the Spirit of Peter when he started to rebuke Him that He should not suffer. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”. But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men” - Matthew 16:22,23.

The living Word of God helps us to discern the spirits as it is the lamp to our feet and light to our path. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart - Hebrews 4:12. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God - 1 Corinthians 2:12.

Let us be spiritually discerned by not believing every spirit but test the spirits with the help of the Holy Spirit who reveals us, teaches us and guides us. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth - John 16:13. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things - John 14:26. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God - 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be spiritually discerned by testing every spirits through Your Word and the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Ash Wednesday

Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So, rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness - Joel 2:12, 13.

The first day of the lent is the Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent is all about repentance. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord - Acts 3:19. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me - Psalm 51:10. Return to Me, and I will return to you - Malachi 3:7.

Let us turn to God with all our heart in prayer, fasting and sharing. Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2. Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes - Daniel 9:3.  You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land - Deuteronomy 15:11.

Let us examine ourselves and go deeper with God in this season of lent. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another - Galatians 6:3, 4. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties - Psalm 139:23. Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us repent and grow more in the grace and knowledge of You in this season of lent. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Will Never Be Shaken

When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken” - Psalm 30:6.

Nothing in the world can shake us as we wait on the Lord, rejoice in the Lord, trust in the Lord and put the Word of God into practice. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken - Psalm 16:8. Truly, He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will never be shaken - Psalm 62:2. Surely the righteous will never be shaken - Psalm 112:6.

Like eagles

We can renew our strength like eagles as we wait on the Lord. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.

Like deer’s feet

God will make our feet like deer’s feet to overcome everything as we rejoice in the Lord. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:17-19.

Like a tree

We will be like a tree planted by the waters and our leaf will be green and bear fruits even in drought as we trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:7,8.

Like a house built on the rock

We will be like a house built on the rock and will not fall when winds blew and rain cam down as we are the doers of the Word. Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. - Matthew 7:24,25.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always wait on You, rejoice in You, trust in You and be the doers of the Word. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God Who Breaks All The Obstacles

The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head - Micah 2:13.

Red Sea

God divided the waters in the Red sea and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water on their right and on their left - Exodus 14:22.

Jericho

And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city - Joshua 6:20.

Jordan

As soon as their feet touched the water, it piled up in a heap. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground - Joshua 3:17.

God who breaks the obstacles will go before us and make all the crooked places straight. Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters - Isaiah 43:16. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron - Isaiah 45:2. I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them - Isaiah 42:16. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it - Revelation 3:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for going before us and breaking all the obstacles to make a way for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Lord Most High is awesome and great king over all the earth. For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods - Psalm 97:9. We are the sons of the Most High God as we love our enemies and do good. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil - Luke 6:35.

We are protected and redeemed as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer - Psalm 78:35.

Let us thank the Lord Most High who performs all things for us. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me - Psalm 57:2. Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand - Genesis 14:19,20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You and magnify You for You are the Lord Most High who performs all things for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice - Psalm 63:7.

But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings – Malachi 4:2.

He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings - Deuteronomy 32:10,11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for hiding us under the shadow of Your wings. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

More Than My Necessary Food

I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food - Job 23:12.

God’s word brings joy and delight to our heart more than our necessary food. Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart. For I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts - Jeremiah 15:16. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes - Psalm 19:8.

God’s Word is sweeter than honey and more to be desired than gold and so let us have desire for it as newborn babes. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward - Psalm 19:10,11. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow - 1 Peter 2:2.

Let us thank God for His word as we live only by it and not by food. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew 4:4. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver - Psalm 119:72. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! - Psalm 109:103. May we treasure the word of God more than our necessary food. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us treasure Your word more than our necessary food. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Joyful Heart

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones - Proverbs 17:22.

Being joyful in heart is good medicine for our health. A happy heart makes the face cheerful - Proverbs 15:13. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression - Proverbs 12:25. Worrying adds nothing to our life. And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? - Luke 12:25,26. Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God - John 14:1.

God’s Word rejoices our heart. Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16.  The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart - Psalm 19:7. There is fullness of joy in the presence of God. In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28. The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10.
