That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him - Ephesians 1:17.
Fear the Lord
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom - Psalm 111:10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom and instruction - Proverbs 1:7.
Listen to the instructions of God
Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it - Proverbs 8:33.
Follow the commands of God
See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it. Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding - Deuteronomy 4:5-6.
Be humble
When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom - Proverbs 11:2.
Ask God
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him - James 1:5.
Practice the Word of God
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock - Matthew 7:24.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You the only wise God. Fill us with the spirit of wisdom. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
