Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken - Psalm 62:5,6.
God alone is our only source of salvation, hope, rock and fortress. We can find rest in Him alone and no one in this world can offer the rest that God offers.
Find rest in God alone
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28.
My hope comes from Him
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior, and my God – Psalm 42:5. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame - Psalm 25:3.
My rock & salvation
On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God - Psalm 62:7.
He is my fortress
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer - 2 Samuel 22:2.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, In You alone we find rest. You alone is our salvation, hope, rock and fortress. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
