Quietness And Confidence

In quietness and confidence shall be your strength - Isaiah‬ ‭30‬:‭15‬.

Quietness

            But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content - Psalm 131:2. Your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight - 1 Peter 3:3-4. Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10. My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken - Psalm 62:5-6. Be silent in the LORD’s presence and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still - Exodus 14:14. 

Confidence

            God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation - Isaiah 12:2. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8.

Quietness And Confidence

            In every situation, let us turn to the Lord quietly and confidently, and wait for Him to do great things as our strength is in quietness and confidence. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls - Matthew 11:28,29. Blessed are all those who wait for Him - Isaiah 30:18.
