With The Ability Which God Supplies

 If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen - 1Peter 4:11.

                    Moses led the people of Israelites with the abilities which God supplied. Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”  So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” - Exodus 4:10-12.

                 God had distributed the gift of the Spirit to each one individually as He wills and He had given us the sufficient abilities to carry out the work of His kingdom with that gift. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:  for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.  But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills - 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

               Let us thank God for the gift of the Spirit and serve Him with the ability which He supplies us and do great things for Him. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord - 1 Corinthians 15:58. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect - 1 Peter 3:15.  I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you - Exodus 31:6.

                                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us serve You with the gift of the Spirit You have given us and with the ability which You supply us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
