The Lord will look on my affliction - 2 Samuel 16:22.
God saw the affliction of Leah and blessed her with children. When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren. So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben; for she said, “The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me" - Genesis 29:31,32.
God saw the affliction of Israelites and delivered them from Egypt. I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.- Acts 7:34. For the Lord saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter, for there was none left, bond or free, and there was none to help Israel - 2 Kings 14:26.
God will see our affliction and will surely deliver us and so let us rejoice and thank God. I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place - Psalm 31:7.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for seeing all our afflictions and delivering us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
