Spread The Gospel

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature - Mark 16:15.

The shepherds spread the word about the birth of Jesus. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them - Luke 2:17,18. And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”- Romans 10:15.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon us and we are called by God to spread the gospel. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord - Luke 4:18-19. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching - 2 Timothy 4:2.

Like the shepherds, let us also spread the gospel to every creature. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen - Matthew 28:19, 20. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believe - Romans 1:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us go into all the world and spread the gospel to everyone. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

My people will be satisfied with My goodness - Jeremiah 31:14. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing - Psalm 145:16. He grants peace to Your borders and satisfy You with the finest of wheat - Psalm 147:14.

Praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you

My people shall never be put to shame

God had given us double honor instead of shame. Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame - Isaiah 49:23. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed - Psalms‬ ‭25‬:‭3. He who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame - 1 Peter 2:6. Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame - Isaiah 10:11. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor - Isaiah 61:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise Your name and give you all the glory for You have dealt wondrously with us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you - Isaiah 60:1,2.

The Three Wise Men

And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh - Matthew 2:11.

The three wise men came in search of Jesus who was born in Bethlehem in the days of king Herod when they saw the star in the east. After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him"- Matthew 2:1-2. They travelled far and followed the star to see Jesus.

The star led the wise men to the place where the Jesus was born and they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. Behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy - Mathew 2:9,10.

The three wise men worshipped Jesus and presented gold, frankincense and myrrh to Him. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh - Matthew 2:11. Let us seek and find God like the three wise men by giving our time, talent and treasures to Him. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to seek You and find You with all our heart. Lead us and guide us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

The Shepherds Returned, Glorifying And Praising God

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people" - Luke 2:10.

The shepherds were first announced about the birth of Christ by the angel of the Lord. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord" - Luke 2:9-11. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven,   and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests” - Luke 2:13,14.

The shepherds hurried to see Jesus as soon as they heard about His birth. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger - Luke 2:15,16. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11.

The shepherds returned praising and glorifying God and spread the word about Jesus to others. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them - Luke 2:17,18. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them - Luke 2:20. Let us also go into all the world and spread the gospel to all creation. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation - Mark 16:15.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You and glorify you. Let us go into all the world and spread the good news to all. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Peace

Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Luke 2:14.

Jesus who came to earth to bring us peace is our peace. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near, through the blood of Christ - for He Himself is our peace - Ephesians 2:14. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid - John 14:27.

God's peace will guard us as we submit all our requests to God in prayer with thanksgiving. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful - Colossians 3:15. The Lord will bless His people with peace - Psalm 29:11.

May the God of peace be with us. The God of peace will be with you - Philippians 4:9. Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen - Romans 15:33.  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all - 2 Thessalonians 3:16. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen - Romans 6:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our peace. We thank You for coming to the world to bring us peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Elizabeth And Zechariah

He hears the prayer of the righteous - Proverbs 15:29.

God heard the prayer of Zechariah and Elizabeth conceived when they both were very old. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John" - Luke 1:13. Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, “Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people” - Luke 1:24,25.

Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were righteous and they both walked blameless in the sight of God by following all His commands. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless - Luke 1:6. God heard the prayer of Zechariah and Elizabeth as His eyes are on the righteous and His ears are open to their prayers. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers - 1 Peter 3:12.

All things are possible for our God. For with God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37. For God to hear and answer our prayers, let us be righteous and walk blameless in the sight of God by following all His commands. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles - Psalm 34:17.  I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless - Genesis 17:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be righteous and walk blameless in your sight by following all Your commands for You to answer our prayers. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

The Word Became Flesh And Dwelt Among Us

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth - John 1:14.

God who was the Word became flesh to dwell among us. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God -  John 1:1. God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons - Philippians 4:4. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. For You have magnified Your word above all Your name - Psalm 138:2.

The word became flesh and dwelt among us with humility in the appearance of man to redeem us. Being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:6-8.

The word became flesh for us to to die for sins and live for righteousness and to serve the living God. “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” - 1 Peter 2:24. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! - Hebrews 9:14.

Let us thank God who became flesh to dwell among us. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God - Revelation 21:3. God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory - 1 Timothy 3:16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for becoming flesh and dwelling among us for us to live through You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Mary Praised God

Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness - Psalm 150:2.

The Mighty One has done great things for me
Mary glorified the Mighty God who had done great things for her. He has lifted up the humble
Mary praised God as He is the one who lifts the humble. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. Promise keeping God
Mary magnified and praised God as He had fulfilled the promises. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors - Luke 1:54-55.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You and magnify You for Your mighty acts in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope - Romans 15:13.

Jesus came to earth as God of hope to give us great hope. He is our living hope. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - 1 Peter 1:3. His plans always give us hope and future. For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future - Jeremiah 29:11.

Those who hope in the Lord will never be put to shame. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame - Psalm 25:3. Let God be our hope in all situations. For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth. - Psalm 71:5. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:8.

May the God of hope be our hope and let us put our hope in Him alone. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God - Psalm 42:11. Joseph's Obedience

Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams - 1 Samuel 15:22.

Joseph was thinking of putting away Mary secretly. The angel of the Lord spoke to him in a dream and he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded and took Mary home as his wife. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly - Mathew 1:19.When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife - Mathew 1:24.

Jesus was protected from all dangers as Joseph was obedient to all the instructions and warnings that were given to him in the dreams by angel. When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. ‘Get up,’ he said, ‘take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him - Matthew 2:13. He listened and obeyed to the voice of God and walked according to it. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee - Mathew 2:22.

The plan of God coming to the world as Savior was fully accomplished as Joseph was obedient to God’s voice.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11. Like Joseph, let us obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands for His plan to be fulfilled in our life. If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth - Deuteronomy 28:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be obedient to Your commands and to follow Your instructions. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Christ, the Savior of the world

This is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world - John 4:42.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. His name is Jesus as he will save his people from their sins. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins - Matthew 1:21. He came to the world as Savior to save the lost. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost - Luke 19:10.

God our Savior desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth - 1 Timothy 2:3,4. He is the only way of salvation and all those who call on His name will be saved. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12. I am the way, the truth, and the life - John 14:6. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13.

Let us thank and praise God our Savior who saved us by His grace. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God - Ephesians 2:8. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us - Titus 3:4. And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior - Luke 1:47. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior - Titus 1:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Savior of the world. We thank You for coming to the world to save us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

God's Love

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him - 1 John 4:9.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another - 1 John 4:10,11.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8.

The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us - Romans 5:5.

I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3.

Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ - 2 Thessalonians 3:5.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved - Ephesians 2:4,5.

We love Him because He first loved us - 1 John 4:19.

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him - 1 John 4:12-16.

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness - Psalm 86:15.

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever - Psalm 136:26.

The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease - Lamentations 3:22.

How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! - Psalm 36:7.

I will be glad and rejoice in Your unfailing love, for You have seen my troubles, and You care about the anguish of my soul - Psalm 31:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your amazing love. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Wonderful

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.

The name of our Lord is Wonderful. And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?” And the angel of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?” So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it on the rock to the Lord, to the one who works wonders, and Manoah and his wife were watching - Judges 13:17-19.

Our wonderful God does wonders in our life without number. He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number - Job 9:10. His works are wonderful. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works - Psalm 40:5. Which You have done;  “Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? - Exodus 15:11.

Let us thank our Wonderful God who had worked wonders in our life. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders. And blessed be His glorious name forever; and may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen - Psalm 72:18-19. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works - Psalm 145:5.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is wonderful. We thank You for Your wonderful works in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Name That Is Above Every Name

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name - Philippians 2:9.

Jesus being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God but made himself nothing and came to the world in the likeness of human. So, God exalted Jesus to the the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself  by becoming obedient to death -even death on a cross! - Philippians 2:6-8.

So, God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father - Philippians 2:9-11.

Let us praise the name of the Lord that is above every name and lift His name on high. From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord’s name is to be praised - Psalm 113:3. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it - John 14:14. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12.

Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! - Psalm 8:1.

Blessed be His glorious name forever! - Psalm 72:19.

Blessed be the name of God forever and ever - Daniel 2:20.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your name is above all names. We lift Your name on high as You came from heaven to earth in the likeness of man to save us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I Have Come As A Light Into The World

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46.

Jesus came as a light into the world to give us light. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world - John 1:9. God is light, and in him is no darkness at all - 1 John 1.5.  I am the light of the world - John 8:12. The Lord will be your everlasting light - Isaiah 60:20. The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined - Isaiah 9:2.

Once we were in darkness but now we were delivered out of it and brought into His marvelous light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light - Ephesians 5:8. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1;13. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light - 1 Peter 2:9.

We will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness as we follow Him. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life - John 8:12. We are the light of the world and so let our light shine before men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:14-16.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You come as a light into the world. We thank You for stepping down into the dark world to deliver us out of the darkness into the marvelous light. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Joy

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy - Psalm 43:4.

The birth of Jesus brought great joy to the whole world. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord" - Luke 2:10,11. The shepherd and the wise men were filled with great joy when they heard about the birth of Jesus. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy - Mathew 2:10.

God is our exceeding joy. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory - 1 Peter 1:8. He is the one who turns all our sorrow into joy. your sorrow will be turned into joy - John 16:20. Let us rejoice in the Lord always who is our exceeding joy and be joyful in all situations. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! - Philippians 4:4. The joy of the Lord is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10. In Your presence is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11.

Let us praise God who came to the world to bring us joy. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises - Psalm 98:4. So the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away - Isaiah 51:11. You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound - Psalm 4:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for coming to the world to bring us joy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
