A Woman Who Fears The Lord Is To Be Praised

 A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised - Proverbs 31:30.

Hannah’s prayer

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him - 1 Samuel 1:27.

Mary’s submission

Let it be to me according to your word - Luke 1:38.

Sarah’s faith

And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise - Hebrews 23:11. 

Rebekah inquired the Lord

But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.” - Genesis 25:22, 23.

Deborah - a Prophetess & Judge

Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time - Judges 4:4.

Ruth’s commitment

Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God” - Ruth 1:16.

Esther’s courage

And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” - Esther 4:15.

The Samaritan woman spreading the gospel

Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,  “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”  They came out of the town and made their way toward him - John 4:28-30.
