God's Promises For Us

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20. 

Everlasting life: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16.

The Holy Spirit: “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” - John 14:15-17.

Peace: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John 14:27.

Love: “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” - Deuteronomy 7:9.

Care: “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” - Matthew 6:31-33.

Guidance: I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

He hears us: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” - 1 John 5:14.

Forgiveness: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9.

Strength: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” - Isaiah 40:31.

Power: "He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength." - Isaiah 40:29. 

Rest: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30.

Abundant Life: " I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." - John 10:10.                                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for all the promises You have given to strengthen us and bless us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
