Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us - Ephesians 3:20.
More than able to provide us
God provided all the needs of Israelites in the wilderness miraculously. He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep. He rained down on them manna to eat and gave them the grain of heaven. Man ate of the bread of the angels; He sent them food in abundance. He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power He led out the south wind; he rained meat on them like dust, winged birds like the sand of the seas; He let them fall in the midst of their camp, all around their dwellings. And they ate and were well filled - Psalm 78:15, 24-29.
More than able to heal us
Two blind men came to Jesus to receive mercy and He asked them whether they believe that He is able to do this. And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” And their eyes were opened - Matthew 9:27-29.
More than able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think
Let us trust and thank God who is more than able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. He is more than able to provide all our needs according to His riches in glory. But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19. He is more than able to heal all our diseases. With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible - Matthew 19:26. For with God nothing will be impossible - Luke 1:37.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being more than able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think to provide us and heal us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
