The Wind Ceased And There Was A Great Calm

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm - Mark 4:39.

There was a great calm in the sea and the wind ceased when Jesus rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!". There will be a great calm and peace in our life when God who is always with us speaks to all the storms in our life. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

No situation can cause us to stumble as God keeps us and preserves us from all evil. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul - Psalm 121:3-7.

Let us thank God who calms all the storms in our life, preserves us from all evil and brings us peace. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet - Psalm 107:29,30. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you - Isaiah 43:2. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved - Psalm 62:6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for calming all the storms in our life, preserving us from all evil and bringing us peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
