Pray In The Spirit On All Occasions With All kinds of Prayers And Requests

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests - Ephesians 6:18.

Pray in the Spirit

For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding - 1 Corinthians 14:14-15. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit - Jude 20.  God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth - John‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans - Romans 8:26.

On all occasions

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak - Mathew 26:41. Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

All kinds of prayers and requests

a)Adoration

Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them. 3 His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion - Psalm 111:1-4.

b)Confession

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective - James 5:16.

c)Thanksgiving

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving - Colossians 4:2.

d)Supplications

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6-7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
