At The Appointed Time

Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son - Genesis 18:14.

Sarah laughed when she was told that she will have a son as she was past the age of childbearing. But God told Abraham that nothing is too hard for Him and Sarah will have a son at the appointed time next year. Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”- Genesis 18:13,14.

God blessed Sarah with a son at the appointed time next year as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him - whom Sarah bore to him - Isaac - Genesis 21:2. God's Word never fails and all things are possible for Him. For no word from God will ever fail - Luke 1:37. With God all things are possible - Matthew 19:26. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come - Psalm 102:13.

Let us wait for God to bless us at the appointed time as nothing is too hard for Him. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly - Isaiah 60:22. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because; it will surely come, It will not tarry - Habakkuk 2:3. He will fulfill what He had spoken to us at the appointed time. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time - 1 Peter 5:6. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Your word never fails and nothing is too hard for you. Let us wait for You to bless us at the appointed time. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
